-$26 billion infrastructure equity investment program.
-$150 billion investment-grade corporate lending program across private placement and public bond markets that includes 2,000 borrowers around the world
-Guiding portfolio extensions into private credit and approving private equity investments.
This portfolio includes the Manulife’s life insurance companies in their home market Canada, their largest single market the US (John Hancock), and their fastest growing market, Asia.
John is a member of Manulife’s Global Leadership Team and of the investment committee for this global life insurance portfolio.
As a 35-year infrastructure investor, John is playing a particularly active role in guiding Manulife’s investment strategy for the transformative opportunity in Artificial Intelligence and Data Centers,
coordinating our investment learnings across infrastructure, technology and real estate programs, public and private markets, debt and equity markets.
Before joining the Private Sector, John served for three years as an Intelligence Officer at the Central Intelligence Agency.
John holds an MBA from Georgetown University and received his BA in Economics from The University of Chicago.
John speaks six languages and would only be mistaken for a native speaker in English.
