Lyne Landry
Lyne is a co-founder and managing partner at Agetech Capital, where she leverages her extensive venture capital experience to drive growth in AI-driven health tech and agetech startups. With a strong background as a founder, investor, and board member, she has gained international experience and sharp financial acumen throughout her career.
Lyne began in finance by providing M&A consulting services to international telecommunications and venture capital firms across North America, Africa, and Europe, managing deals typically ranging from $50 million to $300 million. She then played a pivotal role in helping UKAid establish a £30 million agriculture impact private equity fund.
Joining ThirdWay Partners, a London-based merchant bank, as Executive Director, she was instrumental in raising a €150 million impact private equity fund, expanding the M&A advisory division, and establishing a foundation. She contributed significantly to team building and developed the firm’s impact and ESG framework, overseeing sourcing, due diligence, and growth support. Today, ThirdWay Partners manages three funds and employs over 50 professionals.
After returning to Montreal, Lyne served as an advisor at SecondMuse Capital, co-leading the successful raise of a $50 million Climate Tech VC fund. She is now fully dedicated to the impact tech ecosystem and has emerged as a leading ambassador for impact investing in Canada, founding CIVIC, a GP impact investing practitioner group.
Additionally, she is a partner at BAngels Capital, a $20 million private equity impact investment holding, and serves as a board member for the Aging in Place Program at the National Research Council (NRC) while being an Investor in Residence at Anges Quebec. Her entrepreneurial spirit is further reflected in her founding of MIIIM, a blockchain marketplace connecting impact-driven startups with experts, and her 2016 initiative in Africa aimed at empowering women in finance through mentorship and leadership development.
