Managing Director & Co-Head of New Mountain Atlas , New Mountain Capital

Neal is a Managing Director at New Mountain Capital and Co-Head of New Mountain’s GP-led Secondary Solutions platform (Atlas). 

Prior to this, Neal was a Partner in Secondary Investments at AlpInvest Partners (The Carlyle Group). He spent spent over 20 years with AlpInvest, most recently as the Head of AlpInvest’s London office.  Neal also worked at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, where he led the Secondary and Co-investments business in Europe.  He received his MBA from Columbia University in New York and an Honors Business degree (HBA) from the Ivey School of Business at Western University in Canada. He is also a CFA ® Charterholder.
