Robin Goldwyn Blumenthal is a senior reporter at Private Debt Investor. She spent many years covering the public markets, including 20 years as a senior editor at Barron’s magazine, where she presaged the US housing collapse and the 2008 financial crisis. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter in the New York bureau of The Wall Street Journal. She has interviewed luminaries in business, government and finance, including Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin and Starbucks founder Howard Schultz. Her play, The Error of the Moon, had its world premiere at The New York Theater Festival in the summer of 2019.
