Tazia Smith is CEO of Closed Loop Capital Management, a leading investment firm dedicated to building the circular economy and managing private equity, venture and catalytic private credit strategies on behalf of global corporations, institutional allocators and family offices. Closed Loop Capital Management is one of three businesses on the Closed Loop Partners platform, comprised of the investment firm, an innovation center and an operating group. Since joining Closed Loop Partners in 2019, Tazia has supported Founder & CEO, Ron Gonen, to scale the platform, responsible for capital formation, stakeholder management, and operations. Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Tazia spent close to 20 years at investment banks including Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, and Citi, working with family offices across capital markets, structured credit and private investments. Tazia is a CFA charterholder and a graduate of Duke University with her degree in Environmental Science & Policy.
