Alejandro “Ale” Ayestarán is Operating Partner, Head of AI at Nexus Capital, where he leads AI strategy and value creation across the firm's portfolio.

He works with management teams to identify practical AI opportunities, build adoption and development roadmaps, improve governance, and translate emerging technologies into budgeted and measurable operating impact across commercial, finance, operations, technology, and talent functions.

Ale brings a broad operator's perspective to AI transformation, combining experience in ML/AI, growth, product, strategy, and scaled operations. Before Nexus, he held senior operating and business leadership roles at Silicon Valley technology companies including Shift Technologies and Mynd and earlier was a strategy and digital consultant at Boston Consulting Group.

He earned his engineering degree from ITBA and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
