Brian Barnum is the CFO of Skillable, the cutting edge and digital/AI skills development and validation platform, where he joined the board following Shamrock Capital's 2021 investment before stepping into the CFO role. Prior to this Barnum was Operating Partner at Shamrock Capital, partnering with portfolio companies to sharpen operations and drive value, and remains an Operating Advisor and a board member of Vidmob, a Shamrock portfolio company.

Brian brings decades of senior leadership that produced multiple successful exits across technology, media, communications and education. His prior roles include COO of Brighter, COO/CFO of Magnite and Business.com, President of Dex Media's digital business, CFO of Rent.com through its acquisition by eBay, and CFO of Transaction Network Services, which he guided through an IPO.

Barnum started his career as a TMT investment banker with Alex. Brown and Bankers Trust.

He holds an MBA from UCLA and a BA from Stanford University.
