Darryl Agostinelli

Darryl Agostinelli is an Operating Partner and Head of AI at Abry Partners focused on helping portfolio companies use AI, data, software, and cybersecurity to create enterprise value. He works directly with boards, CEOs, and technology leaders on diligence, digital transformation, and operational improvement. Before joining Abry, Darryl served in various roles including global CTO, CIO and Management Consultant where he led technology turnarounds, software modernization, and cybersecurity initiatives across a range of industries. He combines hands-on engineering depth with private equity operating experience, enabling him to evaluate both business outcomes and technical execution. At Abry, he developed the firm’s AI value creation and technology diligence frameworks and supports portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle, from acquisition through growth and exit.

Darryl is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, where he earned his BA in Computer Science. He also holds a certificate in Executive Leadership from Oxford University.
