Doug Vandenberg

Doug Vandenberg is an Operations Advisor for Advent International, providing benefits advisory support to their portfolio companies. And as an operating partner and advisor to multiple private equity firms, he has helped dozens of their portfolio companies save tens of millions of dollars.

Prior to focusing on benefits optimization, Doug held multiple roles as CFO and HR leader for private equity-owned businesses. Earlier in his career he worked as operating partner and investment professional at private equity firms Thomas H. Lee Partners and Bain Capital, respectively, and as general manager at the Danaher Corporation. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Doug lives outside of New York City on the north shore of Long Island with his wife and two children.
