Gary Stewart

Gary Stewart is Head of Adobe Private Capital for the Americas, working with private equity firms and operating partners to turn AI and digital capability into measurable value across the hold period. His focus is the portfolio company's commercial engine: generating demand, producing content at scale and converting customers, with improvements that show up in revenue and margin.

Gary has spent two decades as founder and investor. He was employee number 2 and led Wayra in Spain and the UK, part of Telefónica's $254 million venture platform across 12 countries, and later launched Techstars New York City with JPMorgan. Companies he has backed have raised more than $2 billion. A VC-backed serial entrepreneur with an exit, he brings an operator's eye.

He is Inaugural Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Yale Law School and a Venture Partner at Hearst Level Up Ventures. He is a graduate of Yale College, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and Yale Law School.
