Matt Eisen is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Team at Hellman & Friedman (H&F), a leading global private equity firm. Based in San Francisco, Matt joined H&F in 2012 and has played a central role in shaping the firm's investment strategy and operations, and more recently focusing on the Firm’s approach to AI across new investments, the H&F portfolio, and internal usage.

Throughout his tenure at H&F, Matt has been deeply involved in evaluating, executing, and managing investments across the technology and services sectors. Matt is active across several of H&F's portfolio companies, including Caliber Collision and Zendesk today. He brings a hands-on operational perspective to each board, partnering closely with management teams to drive long-term value creation.

Matt earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Yale University. He resides in Tiburon with his wife and two children.
