Michael has served for more than a decade as an Operating Partner at Riverside Partners, a healthcare-focused private equity investment firm. His 30+ year career has spanned roles as engineer and scientist, medical device and diagnostics CEO through multiple sale transactions, and private equity investor. He is the best-selling author of Dancing Between the Toes of Elephants, recognized by the Boston Business Journal as one of the "Notable Business Books of 2025." Inspired by his transition from operating executive to private equity investor, the book provides an educational and engaging guide to navigating the world of private equity and value creation. Michael holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, respectively, and an MBA from Northeastern University.
