Prabhu Soundarrajan is an innovative, award-winning operating partner / executive with
25 years proven track record in infrastructure (Kingston Capital), private equity (Oak investments, vector capital, Frontenac CEO 1st partner), fortune 100 public (Honeywell, Republic Services), venture capital (Chrysalix), companies. Prabhu has held executive roles in general management, marketing, technology, sales across Industrial Automation, AI, Sustainable Energy, Safety, Waste Services, Facility management, and Software sectors.
Prabhu is currently Operating Partner at Kingston Capital, a value-add infrastructure platform backed by Cerberus Capital, part of the senior leadership team and investment committee. In this role, Prabhu leads technology and operational diligence, underwriting de-risking, and post-close portfolio execution, screening 500+ infrastructure investments and originating and executing proprietary opportunities across multiple subsectors.
Across infrastructure and PE-backed platforms, Prabhu originated deals, scaled portfolio operations, led M&A integration, and driven value creation that has consistently produced >3.5x MOIC and 15–20%+ IRRs. His strength is serving as a bridge between financial sponsors and operating management teams—ensuring underwriting assumptions convert into executable operating plans and value creation initiatives are delivered with rigor and accountability.
