Richard Lichtenstein

Richard Lichtenstein is an Operating Partner and Head of AI and Data Science Berkshire Partners. Richard is responsible for AI within the portfolio, in diligence, and internally at the fund. Before joining Berkshire in 2026, he was a Senior Expert Partner and Chief Private Equity Data Officer at Bain & Company. Richard also writes a Substack about AI and investing called Artificial Investment. Richard received a B.A. and M.S. in Computer Science from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
