Ryan Kennedy

Ryan Kennedy is Director of AI Initiatives at Gemspring Capital, where he leads the firm’s AI strategy and implementation across portfolio companies. Working directly with portfolio company management teams, Ryan designs and implements AI solutions that drive measurable operational and financial impact, from pricing and automation engines in logistics to finance and reporting automation in services businesses. He is also building Gemspring’s scalable AI playbook, a repeatable framework for identifying, prioritizing, and deploying AI opportunities across companies at every stage of ownership. Internally, he advises Gemspring’s investment and operating professionals on AI-enabled workflows and tooling.

Prior to Gemspring, Ryan was a Lead AI Engineer at BCG X, where he led the delivery of bespoke AI solutions for Fortune 500 clients, spanning hands-on development through leadership of cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and full-stack developers. Ryan combines deep technical expertise with a practical, value-focused approach to AI adoption.
