Shalini’s a Principal in Deloitte’s Private Equity (PE) Business and a member of the Consulting PE Leadership team. As an account lead for top-tier PE clients with Assets Under Management exceeding $100B, she oversees critical relationships. Additionally, she leads Deloitte’s Private Equity Ecosystems and Alliances business and Tech sector footprint. In this role, she collaborates with PE sponsors, portfolio companies, and traditional alliance partners and leads Deloitte’s PE capability within the Technology sector.

An M&A partner by trade, Shalini has over 20 years of experience leading consulting services delivery for some of the industry’s largest merger integrations, separations, and carve-outs. Her tenure includes launching Deloitte’s Silicon Valley innovation practice and leading Deloitte’s commercial space business. Before joining Deloitte, she worked in Business Intelligence at ICICI Bank Mumbai. Shalini holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and resides in the Bay Area with her husband and two children.
