Steven Berman is a Director of Portfolio Operations at Gemspring Capital, focused on executive talent and leadership development focusing on firm’s SaaS portfolio companies.

Prior to Gemspring, Steven was a Vice President of Executive Search at Accel-KKR, a technology-focused private equity firm. At Accel-KKR, Steven led executive talent initiatives across the firm’s software and technology portfolio, overseeing senior leadership searches and partnering with management teams on organizational development.

Prior to Accel-KKR, Steven was a Director at Aequitas Partners, a boutique search and investment firm focused on the healthcare technology sector, where he led national C-suite searches across a range of health-tech businesses.

Earlier in his career, Steven worked at Etico Capital, a merchant and investment bank, where he focused on debt and equity financing for growth-stage medical device and life science companies.

Steven received an MS in Management from Indiana University Bloomington.
