Carolyn Hastings is a Partner in the Private Credit Group at Bain Capital Credit, a leading global credit specialist with approximately $61 billion in assets under management. She is based in Bain Capital Credit’s Boston office and serves as a member of the firm’s Credit Committee. The Private Credit Group focuses on global direct lending opportunities across the capital structure to companies with EBITDA ranging from $10M to $150M. Throughout her tenure in the Private Credit Group, Carolyn has held origination, underwriting and portfolio monitoring responsibilities and has partnered with dozens of private equity sponsors to finance companies in the technology, telecom, healthcare, consumer and hospitality industries. Prior to joining Bain Capital Credit in 2008, Carolyn was an Associate at Thomas H. Lee Partners and an analyst in the Healthcare Group in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs & Co.

Carolyn received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a B.S.Ec. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania.
