Irina Barbuntoiu is Senior Portfolio Manager for Private Debt at NN Group. With 15+ years of experience in the investment world, particularly in the alternatives space, Irina oversees NN’s private debt portfolio and enjoys focusing on CRE debt and specialist lending. Her comprehensive expertise spans the entire investment process, from conducting multifaceted due diligence to structuring bespoke investments with strong ESG impact ambitions. Before joining NN Group, she was dedicated to impact investing, playing a pivotal role in catalyzing access to capital in underserved markets. Her career began at APG Asset Management in public markets.

Irina is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Master's Degree in Finance.
