Sonia Baillie joined Aware Super in December 2022 to lead the income assets team that is responsible for the investment performance and development of income-related strategies for the cash, fixed income and credit sectors across public and private debt markets. Sonia has over 28 years of investment experience in global credit markets, most recently as Senior Portfolio Manager in Global Fixed Income at Macquarie Asset Management. Sonia has held various credit research and portfolio management roles at AMP Capital, Nomura and UBS in Sydney and Hong Kong. Sonia has Bachelor of Commerce (Merit) from the University of New South Wales, is a CFA charterholder and a qualified Chartered Accountant.
