Valerie is a founding member of Women in Private Credit (WPC), a network of senior women dedicated to advancing private credit and empowering its female leaders. Since 2022, she has also chaired WPC’s Event Pillar, supporting the continued development of women leaders and the evolution of the private credit asset class.

With a 30-year career in alternative investments, Valerie has built and scaled franchises across regions and asset classes, leading high-performing teams and cultivating strategically important global client relationships.

Most recently, until March 2025, Valerie served as Partner, Head of Pan-Alts EMEA, and Head of Aksia Europe. She oversaw all business operations and oversaw advisory, investment research, and operational due diligence teams across EMEA (with offices in London, Zurich, and Dubai). She was also responsible for portfolio advisory across Europe, the Middle East, and Australia, developing customised solutions for institutional clients.

Before Aksia, Valerie was Managing Director and Head of Business Development & Investor Relations for Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (BAAM) focusing on the international business, where she also served on the firm’s Executive Committee. Earlier, she was Director of Business Development at TASS Investment Research Limited.

Valerie graduated from the Faculté des Affaires Internationales in Le Havre, France with a Master of International Finance and Business.
