Walter Seitz

Senior Investment Officer , IFC

Walter is a Senior Investment Officer in IFC’s Financial Institution Group and focuses on private credit and innovative risk and securitization solutions in CEE. 

Before joining IFC, Walter advised clients in Europe and Japan on strategy, M&A, and private market financing, founded an asset structuring / management boutique in Japan, and worked for UBS in Zurich, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. He started his professional career with the Boston Consulting Group.​

Walter holds a M.S. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Information System Science. He is a Swiss and German national and speaks German, English, Italian, and Japanese.
