Anirudh Chowdhry
Anirudh Chowdhry is an investment professional with more than 18 years of experience serving public pension plans and institutional investors. His experience spans private markets, including private credit, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and hedge funds, allocating capital through multiple market cycles. Most recently, he served as Head of Investments, advising the $7 billion Fresno County Employees’ Retirement Association, leading the sourcing, underwriting, negotiation, and oversight of public and private market investments.
Earlier, Anirudh advised institutional investors on private markets strategy, portfolio construction, and manager selection across the investment lifecycle. He also managed alternative investment portfolios through the 2008 downturn, shaping his perspective on credit underwriting, liquidity management, and pacing across market cycles.
Anirudh holds an MBA and an MS in Finance from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. An avid distance runner, he has completed 20 marathons, including the Paris and Stockholm marathons in 2026.
