Mr. Okuliar is Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Global Diversified Credit at Corinthia Global Management, serving on the Management Committee and European Investment Committee. His responsibilities cover the development of Global Diversified Credit and broader strategic initiatives for the firm.

Prior to joining Corinthia in 2026, he was a Partner, Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Global Liquid Credit at Ares Management, where he served on multiple investment committees including European Liquid Credit, European Direct Lending, Diversified Credit, and Global Asset Allocation. He was a member of the Ares Management Committee from 2019 to 2021 and served as a non-executive director of BlueCove Limited ahead of its acquisition by Ares.

Previously, Mr. Okuliar was Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets for Global Market Strategies at The Carlyle Group, focused on sourcing credit opportunities and developing new business. Before that, he held senior capital markets roles at UBS (Head of Leveraged Capital Markets), Barclays Capital (Head of High Yield Capital Markets and Syndicate), and Banc of America Securities across the US and London. He holds a BSBA from Georgetown University and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
