Howie Friedman is the Founder and Managing Partner of FBRE Advisors, an independent, research-backed advisory practice serving institutional investors. The firm provides unconflicted expert guidance across private markets and real assets alternative investments, with a growing vertical focused on the use of artificial intelligence applications in finance.

Howie has over two decades of experience spanning the full lifecycle from origination through portfolio management. Most recently, he served as Head of Global Real Estate & Infrastructure Investments at the Citigroup Pension, managing a mix of private and public assets. Prior to Citigroup, He originated and asset-managed over $2 billion of credit investments at Emigrant Realty Finance, specializing in complex restructurings and multi-creditor turnarounds. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Computer Science from Yale University.
