Jayanth Ganesan is an Investment Manager at Legal & General OCIO, where he focuses on alternative credit and private market investments across U.S. insurance and reinsurance platforms. He leads the evaluation and execution of various investments across real estate debt, asset-backed finance, and corporate credit, and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing investments in partnership with external managers and global L&G affiliates. Jayanth also supports portfolio construction and capital allocation for pension risk transfer and insurance mandates within NAIC and BMA regulatory frameworks.

He brings over 10 years of experience across insurance and asset management, with a focus on private credit, real estate debt, and structured products. Prior to joining Legal & General, he was a Senior Research Associate at Nuveen Real Estate, where he specialized in U.S. commercial real estate credit strategies. He began his career at Nuveen’s Global Fixed Income platform as a CMBS Investments Analyst.

Jayanth holds a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Computer Science from Duke University and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Columbia Business School.
