Dr. Matthias Unser is a Founding Partner and Managing Director of YIELCO Investments AG. Since 2003 he was responsible for more than 120 commitments to private debt funds with a total committed capital of more than USD 4.5bn. Matthias had leading roles for European funds-of-funds managers (DB Private Equity, Sal. Oppenheim Private Equity Partners; VCM Capital Management) where he was responsible for all private debt fund commitments, covering direct lending, mezzanine, distressed debt, credit opportunities and specialty finance funds. Between 1999 and 2001 he worked in Corporate Finance Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Matthias holds a master’s degree and a PhD in Finance.
