Sabine Fischer

Sabine Fischer started her professional career at Rheinmetall AG in the area of Strategic Corporate Development and Planning.

In 2000, she joined the Transaction Advisory Team of Ernst & Young in Düsseldorf, where she managed numerous financial and commercial due diligence projects for clients from various industries.

In 2004 and 2005, she joined Ernst & Young's M&A team in London for two years and advised on various buy-side and sell-side mandates in the energy and utilities sector.

In 2007, Sabine Fischer, together with her colleague Alexander Bode, took over the management of the Private Markets Portfolio of  Gothaer Insurance Group. In addition to executing numerous exits, a new overall strategy for the portfolio was developed. The two partners managed both direct corporate investments and as well as private market fund investments and established a new strategy to improve diversification and optimally align the portfolio with the individual risk/return profiles of the individual insurance companies within Gothaer Group.

In 2012 she founded BB Alternatives Partners together with Alexander and the company is since active in supporting institutional investors in selecting Private Market funds and managers, performing Due Diligences and providing extensive reporting services to investors and fund maangers alike.

Sabine Fischer holds a degree in business administration from Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. She has also held the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2006.
