Sven Gralla is Senior Director, Private Debt at bfinance in London, where he advises institutional investors across the full breadth of the private credit market, from single manager searches to fully bespoke, discretionary portfolios.

He specialises in sourcing and evaluating top-tier private debt managers across Europe and the US, and has led the development of strategic portfolios for institutional investors, including separately managed accounts and advisory mandates. He built this expertise at LBBW Asset Management and Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe, where, as a member of the investment team, he was responsible for setting up a private debt fund of funds focused on the lower mid-market. Immediately before joining bfinance, he co-founded 221B Select, an AI-driven platform that helps investors digitise and analyse private markets fund data.

Sven is a founding member of the BAI NextGen Initiative, which connects more than 500 future leaders in the private markets industry across the DACH region, and initiated the European CAIA NextGen Impact Stipendium, supporting women moving into postgraduate careers in private markets. He sits on the Credit Advisory Board of WSH Family Office and, since 2023, on the Advisory Boards of the PDI Germany Forum and the PDI Europe Summit. He speaks regularly at industry events including the PDI Europe Summit, SuperReturn Private Credit Europe, the AIMA Alternative Credit Council Global Summit and LPGP Connect.
