Tom Williams
Tom Williams is Chief Investment Officer at Willow Wealth, where he oversees investment strategy, portfolio construction, manager selection and product development. He brings more than two decades of investment leadership experience across institutional asset management, multi-manager portfolios and alternative investments.
Before joining Willow Wealth, Tom was part of Morgan Stanley’s Outsourced Chief Investment Office, helping grow the business from $17 billion to $56 billion in multi-manager, multi-asset portfolios serving institutional and family office clients. Earlier, he held senior investment leadership and CIO roles at Man Group and Pine Grove Asset Management, where he served as CIO and President of a multi-strategy fund of funds. At Pine Grove, Tom and his co-owner partner led a management buyout of the firm before its strategic sale to Man Group.
Tom began his career as an attorney specializing in corporate and intellectual property law before transitioning to investment management. He has also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Columbia University and Seton Hall University. Tom holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College, a J.D. from the University of Southern California and the CFA designation.
