Partner and Chief Financial Officer, Flare Capital Partners

Adam is a Partner and the Chief Financial Officer of Flare Capital Partners, responsible for finance, operations, strategy, and administration.  His career in venture started over 20 years ago at Advanced Technology Ventures (ATV), where he spent 14 years, including 9 years as CFO.  He was also the founding CFO of Lightstone Ventures, an early-stage life sciences venture capital fund formed by the life sciences teams from ATV and Morgenthaler. In these roles, Adam oversaw financial management, human resources, and operations. Before his venture capital career, Adam worked in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse First Boston, focusing on M&A transactions with financial sponsors and business development.  Adam holds a BA in economics from Fairfield University and an MBA in Finance from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.
