Christina Grumstrup Sørensen
Christina Grumstrup Sørensen, Senior Partner, is based in Copenhagen and particularly focused on overseeing the technical and commercial aspects of CIP’s investments, in addition to overseeing the Firm’s Growth Market and Advanced Bioenergy strategies. Furthermore, Ms. Sørensen is responsible for setting the delivery model for projects in the individual fund strategies. Ms. Sørensen has more than 19 years of experience in the energy sector. Before CIP, Ms. Sørensen held the position of Senior Vice President in DONG Energy (now Ørsted) heading offshore wind project development and construction from 2008 to 2013 and setting up the new offshore wind business unit. Ms. Sørensen was also responsible for the strategy that industrialised the delivery of offshore wind projects and was pivotal in developing the cost of energy strategy which aims to make offshore wind cost competitive with other energy technologies. Before DONG Energy, Ms. Sørensen was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and worked there for seven years.
