Deena Ridley
Deena (Roubal) Ridley is the Chief Financial Officer of Pearl Energy Investment Management, a Dallas-based private equity firm with approximately $3 billion in committed capital across multiple funds and co-investment vehicles. She oversees all aspects of the firm’s finance function, including fund accounting and reporting, tax, treasury, audit, and human resources. She has been instrumental in building and scaling Pearl’s institutional infrastructure since its inaugural fund.
In her role, Ms. Ridley manages relationships with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners; reviews complex capital activity, income allocations, IRR calculations, and carried interest accruals; and leads the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and investor reporting. She works closely with investment teams to ensure clear, accurate disclosure of fund performance and portfolio activity and has negotiated and structured financing arrangements to support portfolio company acquisitions.
Prior to joining Pearl, Ms. Ridley spent a decade at HBK Capital Management, where she served as Area Controller overseeing investor accounting for hedge fund and hybrid private equity structures. She previously held senior roles at Akanthos Capital Management, Deloitte, and The TCW Group, gaining deep experience across private equity, hedge funds, and asset management operations.
Ms. Ridley began her career in public accounting and brings more than two decades of experience in complex fund structures, performance measurement, and institutional reporting. She holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Public Accountant.
