Sarah Patterson

Sarah Patterson is Legal Counsel & Compliance Lead at Georgian, where she oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm's risk and compliance programs, advises senior stakeholders on regulatory matters, and directs Georgian's comprehensive compliance monitoring framework. Prior to joining Georgian, Sarah spent 4 years at OMERS, advancing through a series of senior roles within the organization's global regulatory and compliance function, where she partnered closely with investment teams across private equity, growth equity, venture capital, and other private markets strategies. She concluded her tenure at OMERS as Director of Legal & Compliance.

Sarah holds a Juris Doctor from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Laws in Civil Law from Université de Montréal.
