Senior Principal, Investments, Crux

Donal Mahoney is a Senior Principal on the Investments team at Crux. He leads negotiation and execution of tax and preferred equity investments in clean energy projects, closing over of $1bn of commitments since joining Crux.

Before joining Crux, Donal spent six years at Greenbacker Capital, leading tax equity, debt, and M&A transactions for wind, solar, and BESS projects. Earlier in his career, he worked in Investment Banking in the Power, Utilities & Renewables Coverage Group at Wells Fargo Securities.

Donal holds a BA in History from Davidson College.
