Ekaterina Miroshnik
Ekaterina Miroshnik joined EBRD London in 2000. During her career in the EBRD she has covered infrastructure projects in a number of countries in Europe, Eurasia, Turkiye and Southern and Eastern Mediterranean. Ekaterina has been on assignments in the field for almost 12 years, first in Moscow and then in Almaty.
Currently Ekaterina leads the EBRD Infrastructure Eurasia Team, which invests in transport, municipal and social infrastructure in Eurasia. With around EUR 1.5 billion in annual investments, Ekaterina’s Team provides debt and equity financing for public, private and PPP projects.
Ekaterina Miroshnik holds an MSc and PhD in International Economic Relations from the Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO University). Ms Miroshnik became a CFA charterholder in 2004.
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
The EBRD is a multilateral bank that supports private sector development and entrepreneurial initiative in 40 economies across three continents. It is owned by 77 countries, together with the EU and the EIB, and its investments aim to foster competitive, well governed, green, inclusive, resilient and integrated economies in its regions.
The EBRD’s core investment products are loans, equity investments and guarantees. In 2025, its annual investment reached EUR 16.8 billion across 640 investment operations and 86 trade finance agreements, while its portfolio of investment operations amounted to EUR 64.5 billion.
The EBRD holds triple-A ratings from the three major international rating agencies (Moody’s, Fitch Ratings and S&P Global Ratings) reflecting its strong capital position, prudent risk management framework and sustained shareholder support.
