Julian Alvarez is a Director in the Infrastructure team at YIELCO Investments and has headed the firm’s Spanish office since joining in 2023. He is also heading the firm’s co-investment strategy in infrastructure and is based in Madrid.

Prior to joining YIELCO, Julian was part of the Private Markets investment team at Mutua Madrileña, where he worked as an Investment Manager from 2012, investing across Infrastructure, Private Equity and Private Debt both in funds and co-investments globally.

Previously, Julian spent six years in the Transaction Services practice at EY, where he worked as a Senior Manager and was involved in financial due diligence and other engagements related to M&A transactions. He began his career in 2000 in the Financial Audit department at Banco Santander.
