Katya is a senior infrastructure investment professional with over 20 years’ experience originating, executing and managing equity investments across a broad range of infrastructure sectors. She is currently a Portfolio Manager at Aware Super, Australia’s third-largest superannuation fund, where she is responsible for building and scaling the fund’s infrastructure investment platform in the UK and Europe from Aware’s office in London.

Prior to joining Aware Super, Katya was an Investment Director at Local Pensions Partnership Investments (LPPI), where she led the origination, execution and asset management of a £3.0 billion infrastructure portfolio spanning fund commitments, co-investments and direct investments. In this role, she consistently led multi-disciplinary deal teams through the full investment lifecycle, from strategy and origination through to execution and long-term value creation.

Earlier in her career, Katya spent more than a decade at Balfour Beatty Investments, the global infrastructure development and investment business, where she originated, executed and asset managed a number of transport and energy investments in the UK. She began her career at a specialist infrastructure advisory firm in the United States, followed by an investment banking job in Bank of America Investment Bank in London.
