Adam Piekarski is the Founder, Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer of Derby Lane Partners. He is primarily responsible for the executive leadership, investment strategy, and risk management for the firm.

Prior to Derby Lane, Mr. Piekarski was the Co-Head of Real Estate Credit at BDT & MSD Partners, which he joined in 2007. Before co-founding and leading the firm’s real estate credit platform, he was a member of both the corporate credit and private equity teams.

Prior to BDT & MSD Partners, Mr. Piekarski was a member of the Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs where he helped build an energy-focused private equity business. Mr. Piekarski began his career as an investment banking Analyst in the Global Energy group at Citigroup.

Mr. Piekarski graduated from Duke University with a B.S.E. in biomedical and electrical engineering and a B.S. in economics and received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
