Anssi Halonen is a Partner and Head of Acquisitions for Carlyle Europe Real Estate, based in London.

Since joining Carlyle in 2016, he has been involved in over 100 investments totaling over €2 billion of capitalization. During this time, he has had investment responsibility for transactions within various Carlyle Europe Realty investment vehicles, mainly focusing on the logistics and residential sectors across Europe.

Prior to joining Carlyle in February 2016, Anssi worked for Angelo, Gordon, prior to which he was with Blackstone's Real Estate group in London from 2007 to 2013. He began his career with Citi’s investment banking department in New York in 2006.

Anssi holds a B.Sc. degree in Engineering Management Systems from Columbia University.
