Cai Wenzheng leads GIC’s real estate equity and debt investment activities in the Americas. Wenzheng joined GIC in 2008 in the Real Estate department in the Singapore office where he focused on investments in South Asia. Subsequently, he led investment teams in the Real Estate Americas portfolio (2014-2017) and in Shanghai (2017-2019) before being appointed Head, Real Estate Korea in 2019.

Most recently, he was Head of Global Investment and Portfolio Strategy (GIPS), which drives deal underwriting, investment strategy, and overall portfolio monitoring for the Real Estate department.
