Robert Wagenaar has been working at Bouwinvest for 13 years. In his current role as Director North American Investments, based in the firm’s New York office, he leads the North America team across Amsterdam and New York and is responsible for Bouwinvest’s real estate investments in the region.

Previously, he served as Head of Portfolio Operations & Transactions, working for the indirect mandates managed by Bouwinvest across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.

Mr. Wagenaar holds an MSc in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Groningen and a post-graduate Executive Master of Finance and Control from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He has previously been active on committees at INREV and ANREV and currently serves on the Board of Directors of AFIRE.
