First Street, part of MSCI, is on a mission to connect climate and financial risk. For nearly a decade, our scientists have built transparent, peer-reviewed physical climate risk models that quantify the financial impact of perils such as flooding, wildfire, and extreme wind at the property level, worldwide. As part of MSCI, we are extending that work beyond individual properties to infrastructure, companies and issuers, and entire regions, and making it available through MSCI ONE and API delivery. Today, our work supports asset owners, asset managers, banks, governments, real estate investors, and corporations, and informs millions of homebuyers through public risk scores.
